Baha na hindi na normal
District-by-district flood program: drainage that is cleaned on schedule, detention basins that exist on the ground, slope protection, and a public dashboard of every flood contract — cost, contractor, completion date.
SCENE 01 · QUEZON CITY · 2028
FORMER CONGRESSMAN · DISTRICT 6 · LAWYER
Mas paunlarin pa ang Quezon City.
Hindi lang ipagpatuloy — itulak pa.
Atty. Jose Christopher “Kit” Yuvienco Belmonte · Alkalde ng QC
02 / MANIFESTO
“Quezon City is already the largest, most restless city in the country. The work now is not to decorate it. The work is to finish what the people already started — flood control that actually holds, clinics that stay open, classrooms that do not wait, and a government that answers when you knock.”
Tatlong termino si Cong. Kit sa House. Labintatlong batas. Mahigit isang daan at pitumpung bills.
FIELD STILL
Sa palengke. Sa barangay hall. Sa classroom na init. Sa baha pagkatapos ng ulan.
03 / SINO SI KIT
Ipinanganak sa Baguio noong 19 Marso 1966. Panganay nina Dennis Belmonte at Elsie Yuvienco. Maryknoll, UP Baguio, UP School of Economics (BS Economics, 1997), UP College of Law (LL.B, 2002 — Outstanding OLA Intern). Bar 2003.
Tatlong termino. Liberal Party Secretary General (2016–2022; muling nakaupo simula Enero 2026). Pamangkin ni dating Mayor at Speaker Feliciano “Sonny” Belmonte Jr. Pinsan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte.
04 / AGENDA
District-by-district flood program: drainage that is cleaned on schedule, detention basins that exist on the ground, slope protection, and a public dashboard of every flood contract — cost, contractor, completion date.
Barangay health centers that keep hours working people can actually use. Medicines on the shelf. Konsulta coverage that is not a slogan. District hospitals that do not send you to another city at midnight.
Classrooms first. Scholarships doubled in reach, not just in press release. Teachers paid on time. A city that treats education as infrastructure — because it is.
Parks you can walk to. Creeks you can sit beside. Shade on the sidewalk. QC is huge; it should not feel like a parking lot with houses attached.
Housing that names the beneficiary, not the padrino. Livelihood that is a system, not a photo-op. A city hall that publishes what it spends before you have to file a request.
Lit streets. Working CCTV that is actually monitored. Walkable nodes around transit. A night city that belongs to workers going home — not only to those who can afford a driver.
05 / RECORD
07 / SUMALI
Volunteer. Host a house huddle.
